Villa La Tosca is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places to get married on Arcachon Bay.
I have followed many couples there, and there is simply no other place quite like it around the Bay. Every one of my weddings at Villa La Tosca has been a joy to photograph, and I am always honoured to return each season.

Getting Married on Arcachon Bay
Gironde, in the south-west, has no shortage of extraordinary places, and every year I receive requests for wedding photos in Bordeaux and the surrounding region.
Of course, the Arcachon Bay area (Arcachon, Andernos, Cap Ferret, La Teste-de-Buch, Lanton, Taussat and the surrounding towns) is the one couples fall for most.
Its natural setting and atmosphere draw a great many couples, and many of them are not from the area!
Sometimes I receive requests from couples living at the other end of France, and even abroad.
Very often, couples also want a whole series of photographs around Arcachon Bay, before and after their wedding.
Won over by the beauty of the place, they would like couple photos before the wedding. These are known as engagement sessions.

If you dream of an unusual place by the water, where you can disconnect from everything and reconnect with each other and with nature, Villa La Tosca is the place for you.
From the moment you step inside the grounds of Villa La Tosca, you will feel a wave of calm and well-being. After a wedding weekend at Villa La Tosca, you will feel as if you are on cloud nine, and it is hard to come back down to earth.
Villa La Tosca is on the only road that leads to the Cap Ferret peninsula, in Lanton, near Andernos. A private car park is available on arrival.
Built in 1903, this Arcachon-style villa with Italian and contemporary influences is now one of the most iconic houses of character on Arcachon Bay.
With its exceptional location and its small private beach at the end of its tree-lined, flower-filled park, you can enjoy a panoramic view over Arcachon Bay and the gentle sound of the water. On a clear day, you can even see the Dune du Pilat from the beach of Villa La Tosca.

The private beach is a real bonus for photographs: we can take couple portraits in complete privacy, without other people in the frame.

Villa La Tosca offers several rooms for your wedding weekend, including a bridal suite. Its large windows open onto a breathtaking view of Arcachon Bay, the park, the swimming pool and the terrace.

Weddings I Have Photographed at Villa La Tosca
As I mentioned in the introduction, I have often had the chance to photograph weddings at Villa La Tosca.
I know the Villa well: its light, its angles, its natural settings and its interiors.
At my weddings at Villa La Tosca, many couples have asked for couple portraits at the Villa: already informed by me or by the Villa, they wanted all their photos taken on site. I am sometimes joined by a wedding planner who designs the couple session with a floral designer and a decorator.
Lyse & Philippe. From getting ready in the Villa’s bright rooms to their portraits among the greenery, with a bouquet of white peonies, and on the terrace facing the Bay, their day showed every side of Villa La Tosca.

A couple who love travelling and meeting people, David and Pierre married at Villa La Tosca in June 2019. For their wedding, they chose a symbolic ceremony in the park of Villa La Tosca.

Céline and Erwan said yes at Villa La Tosca in June 2020. As you can see, June is a favourite month for weddings at Villa La Tosca!
A month before the summer holidays, the Villa is easier to reach, as the road is quieter and the Bay less crowded.

With their family, Céline and Jean-Pierre booked the whole of Villa La Tosca for an intimate wedding, in their own bubble. A deeply moving day.

Romane and Julien were supported by three wedding planners for their wedding at Villa La Tosca and their symbolic ceremony. Their wedding took place in October, proof that Villa La Tosca opens its doors in autumn too. Our late-season “Indian summers” are often mild and sunny, which suits the Fine Art style beautifully, as the light is softer and the shadows gentler.

Why choose Villa La Tosca for our wedding?
It stands right on the waterfront of Arcachon Bay, in Lanton, next to Taussat. If you dream of a wedding by the sea, with the scent of pine trees, close to the oyster huts and facing the Dune du Pilat, you will be delighted.
Is Villa La Tosca accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
Yes. The Villa has been adapted to welcome guests with reduced mobility.
How much does a wedding at Villa La Tosca cost?
The Villa’s rates depend on the season and on whether you choose a weekday or a weekend. Contact the Villa directly for a quote.
When can we get married at Villa La Tosca?
Weddings are not held in July and August. June is especially popular, and the Villa also welcomes weddings in autumn. The earlier you book, the more choice you will have, as even weekday dates are in high demand.
Is Villa La Tosca on Arcachon Bay the same as Villa Tosca in Cannes?
No. The two have nothing in common: Villa Tosca in Cannes is a hotel, while the wedding venue on Arcachon Bay is Villa La Tosca.
How do we choose among all the wedding photographers in Aquitaine?
Your wedding photos should faithfully tell the story of your wedding day. Getting ready, the first look, the ceremonies, the drinks reception, the couple and group photos, the speeches, the evening, the cutting of the cake, the first dance: all these moments matter.
