Victoire and Fabien's Three-Day Wedding at Château Grattequina
Wedding Photographer at Château Grattequina for Victoire and Fabien
It was an honour for me to be the photographer of this magnificent wedding at Château Grattequina.
In early May 2018, Victoire and Fabien chose to say "I do" near Blanquefort, just outside Bordeaux.
Both originally from the Paris region, they wanted to come closer to our beautiful part of France, for the love of nature, vineyards and stone.
Château Grattequina is a family estate for them, as the groom is a cousin of the owner, so it was only natural for them to celebrate at this four-star luxury hotel.
I was delighted to be there as their wedding photographer in Bordeaux for three days of festivities. More than 300 guests were invited to this magical place, which combines an 18th-century exterior, typical of the Bordeaux region, with modern interior design.
The coordination was beautifully orchestrated by the lovely Alexandra Ambert of Lovely Day Event, an agency that plans bespoke weddings and private events. Not only does Alexandra do outstanding work as a wedding planner in Bordeaux, she is also a certified wedding designer. She created a true scenography, perfectly suited to Victoire and Fabien’s wishes.
The celebrations also included a boat trip on the river with the guests.
The Rest of This Beautiful Wedding at Château Grattequina
After a religious ceremony at the church in Parempuyre, our lovebirds could enjoy the services of many suppliers for some exceptional moments: Tentations Traiteur, DJ Yanis Texier, of whom I am particularly fond, with his talented saxophonist, a bartender, a florist, a jazz band, car hire and more. Everything for an extraordinary weekend.

Alexandra also organised Marie-Sophie and Sébastien’s autumn wedding at Château de Garde.
