A Wedding Estate in Gironde

The estate lies in Cubzac-les-Ponts, a small village in northern Gironde, just 15 km from Bordeaux. Its location is truly exceptional, as it overlooks the Dordogne river from its banks.

The estate’s buildings were originally built in stone, like other estates in Gironde, and they were restored at the end of the 18th century.

The hall’s little "fancy" touch is a beam that once belonged to the Eiffel bridge, the road bridge at Cubzac, which gives this Gironde wedding hall an elegant, one-of-a-kind feel.

The hall’s terrace, ideal for your drinks reception or wedding cocktail hour, offers an open view over the estate’s green grounds and the vines that have been kept there.

Nature and animals are what Domaine de Conseillant is all about. You can come across the horses in their meadow, admire the view from the riverbanks, or take a walk to the lake, where ducks, geese and swans will be delighted to welcome your children!

Tiffa and Géo, the Newlyweds of Domaine de Conseillant

Tiffa and Géo’s big wedding party took place at Domaine de Conseillant on the first weekend of November.

I was lucky enough to photograph two other events in their lives before this one: first their engagement session in the forest, then their civil wedding at Bordeaux City Hall.

So it was at Domaine de Conseillant that the big party took place, after a religious ceremony in the magnificent Église Notre-Dame in Bordeaux.

Despite much cooler temperatures and days shortened by the switch to winter time, the celebration was no less beautiful.

Vegan and committed to sustainability, Tiffa and Géo chose all their suppliers around these values. I was also able to offer them a beautiful fabric-bound book in the colours of their wedding. The party ended with an incredible band who kept their family and friends dancing for much of the night.
