A Vineyard Maternity Photoshoot near Bordeaux
As a maternity photographer in Bordeaux, I had the immense honour of being chosen by Bérangère and Nicolas to capture the memory of their pregnancy and the happiness of this young couple about to become parents. The setting for the photoshoot was Les Sources de Caudalie, near Bordeaux.
Maternity Photos in Bordeaux
Maternity photography in Bordeaux is one of the services I am asked for most often. Parents-to-be know Bordeaux because they live here. Sometimes they know it because they come for work, for family, or to spend their holidays.
The Bordeaux region is an ideal canvas for outdoor photography, especially for couple photoshoots. Bordeaux and its surroundings offer an enormous range of outdoor settings for a photoshoot! Between the city, the ocean, the forests, the vineyards and the châteaux, the region never runs short of original backdrops for capturing unforgettable moments of life.
Bérangère and Nicolas’s Maternity Photoshoot at Les Sources de Caudalie
Bérangère, Nicolas and I first met in 2017, at an international cat beauty show at the Porte de Versailles in Paris.
My partner and I were showing our pedigree Birman cats at the show, and the young couple fell for one of our kittens! Madly in love with each other, they raised "Chaton" (French for "kitten") like a child, until he was fully grown. Then one day, Bérangère and Nicolas had the wonderful surprise of a baby on the way!
Delighted to share this lovely new chapter of their life together with me, they were determined to come down from Paris to Bordeaux so that I could take their maternity photos in the wonderful setting of Les Sources de Caudalie, not far from Château Smith Haut Lafitte. I photographed this magical session at the beginning of autumn, on a day when it was still lovely and warm.
The session was full of tenderness, emotion and laughter. I know that Bérangère and Nicolas now share these images with sweet little "Pia", born since. And of course, "Chaton" still has a front-row seat to admire the pictures!
Maternity Photographer in Bordeaux
As a photographer for mothers-to-be in Bordeaux, I love to reveal the love and joy that radiate from the couple in front of my lens. The natural feel of candid photos, spontaneous expressions, embraces and tender gestures combines with the natural atmosphere of each location.
Light is a key factor in the success of every one of my photoshoots. It is thanks to light that I can create the romantic, pure and elegant look of Fine Art photography.
Most of the couples who ask me to photograph their pregnancy already know me and have trusted me since the first milestone of their life as a couple: their wedding.
For many of them, Johanna and Alexandre for example, I have photographed the whole series: their engagement session, their wedding photos, their trash the dress session and their maternity photos.
