A Lifestyle Family Photoshoot at the Parc Bordelais
Being a family photographer in Bordeaux lets me meet wonderful people and bring them happiness, and that is what I am proudest of. It was exactly like that for this family photoshoot in Bordeaux with Julie and Stan, a couple whose wedding I photographed in 2018. Here is the story of their lifestyle family session with their little Cassandre at the Parc Bordelais.
A Lifestyle Family Photoshoot at the Parc Bordelais
As I know the couple’s way of life well, a lifestyle session came to mind straight away. Their family photoshoot in Bordeaux with one-year-old Cassandre was pure joy!
Cassandre was a very patient little girl, completely relaxed about having her photo taken. Mum and Dad were right there, giving her all their love and attention, so everything went beautifully. Stan and Julie, as photogenic as ever, were brilliant! A gentle, romantic, caring beauty shines through the two of them.
Used to lifestyle sessions, I became their coach to guide the couple. Julie listened to my advice on their three outfits and, I must admit, she got everything right! The result is just what I hoped for, bringing extra softness to my Fine Art images.
To achieve the Fine Art look of my photographs, everything needs to work together. Soft, natural light, the atmosphere of the location and the style of clothing are all things to think through before the shoot. As a lifestyle family photographer in Bordeaux, I leave nothing to chance when I plan a photoshoot.
Julie and Stan: from wedding photos to family photos
I met Stan and Julie in 2018, and we shared an exceptional moment in their life as a couple: their wedding! Photographing their wedding in Bordeaux at Château de Garde is a day I will never forget, because everything was perfect.
their wedding in Bordeaux at Château de Garde
In three years, the newlyweds have come a long way. In 2020, I heard about the birth of their daughter, Cassandre. I was delighted for them, and even more so when they asked me to photograph their family session in Bordeaux. They made me their family photographer, and I am honoured.
What is more, Julie and Stan do not live in France. Julie is Swiss, and they decided to settle in Switzerland; they only very rarely come back to Bordeaux.
Their family photos were originally planned for September 2020, but the health situation turned our plans upside down. So we held the family photoshoot in 2021.
Grateful for their trust, their patience and their loyalty, I thank them both for this happy moment.
Thank you also to Julie for her review (translated from French):
"We have hired Tristan for every milestone in our family (our wedding, our first family session with our baby...) and we are amazed every time! His work is beautiful. We can only recommend him. Thank you again, Tristan, for this wonderful session a few days ago! See you very soon, that’s for sure!"
