A Family Photoshoot on Arcachon Bay
Justine and David are a happy couple with three children. The idea for this family session was a wedding anniversary present they gave themselves after two years of marriage.
It was the perfect occasion to capture memories of the five of them, on the very day of their second wedding anniversary.
We met at the Réservoirs de Piraillan on Arcachon Bay, an exceptional place for outdoor family photos.
A setting like this for a family photoshoot is a dream, for the family photographer as much as for the parents!
The natural charm of the Piraillan reservoirs, in Lège-Cap-Ferret, is perfect for a Fine Art family session. The light there is soft and diffused, thanks to the tall vegetation and the pines dotted with rays of sunshine. It has been a protected site since 1998, where wildlife and plants reign: there is nothing like it for switching off and being completely carried away by nature. This vast wild space is also ideal for refocusing on what matters most, and here in particular, on the people you love!
The family session: one episode in a series of photoshoots
I have often known the families I photograph for quite a while. That is why I call myself a family photographer.
Justine and David are a perfect example. I met them at Johanna and Alexandre’s wedding in 2017, where Justine caught the bride’s bouquet. At the time, they were a couple with one child.
After that, they asked me to take their engagement photos in May 2019, then to photograph their wedding at Château d’Agassac in September of the same year.
Since then, two more children have joined the little family, and for their second wedding anniversary they wanted photos of the whole family together.
