A Lifestyle Family Photoshoot

For this lifestyle family photoshoot, I met the parents and children at Parc Majolan in Blanquefort, near Bordeaux.

We did this family photoshoot under a beautiful sun at the end of July. Parc Majolan, created in the 19th century, is a vast public park of trees, a pond and shady corners. It is also home to grottoes that are open to the public.

All these different spots in the park allowed me to vary the light, the backgrounds and the poses throughout the family session.

A family full of happiness

As a family photographer, I really enjoyed Betty, Mathieu and their children’s family photoshoot.

Their little boy, the elder of the two children, was absolutely adorable with me. He even helped me out as a photographer’s assistant, with his own little camera! I found that very funny and sweet.

He reminded me a little of the child I once was: passionate about images, curious, a good listener and quick-witted. His little sister was adorable too.

Betty, Mathieu and the children all have very fair skin and blue eyes. That was unusual for me, as I have rarely had the chance to photograph people who look so alike. Their complexion and the colour of their eyes gave unique photographs that I find really lovely.
